See SolidWorks in action at the Price & Myers
Anatomy of Engineering Exhibition

Anatomy of Engineering
The Crypt, St Pancras Church, London
9-18 November 2005

SolidWorks is delighted to be involved in this fascinating exhibition investigating the design evolution of a series of unique structures.

Staged by leading structural engineering practice, Price & Myers 3D Engineering (PM3D), the show demonstrates the extraordinary new opportunities created by advanced 3Ddesign and manufacturing techniques for those working in the AEC sector.

At the heart of the exhibition is a family of beautifully presented rapid prototype models showing the structural skeleton of ten construction projects. A specially commissioned film will accompany each project, explaining the evolution of the design from concept through to construction. For nine of the ten projects, the role of SolidWorks has been paramount, underlining the considerable advantages of 3D mechanical CAD over more traditional AEC CAD programmes.

A number of lectures will also be given during the course of the exhibition by some of the UK’s leading structural engineers: Stuart Piercy, Tim Lucas, Robert Myers and Robin Whittle.

As the first exhibition in recent years to focus on the work of a structural engineering rather than an architectural practice, this event promises to be both revealing, informative and inspiring.

Open every day, 12 noon to 7.30pm
